Packing a Real Punch
As the home of Irish National Hunt racing for more than 150 years, the newly-refurbished Punchestown Racecourse can offer the incentive group a very different look at one of Ireland's favourite pastimes. Punchestown has long been regarded as the Irish Cheltenham and the prize fund for the Irish National Hunt Festival will reach a record high of €2.8 million for the 2008 meet this April. There are a range of Hospitality Packages available to suit all groups over the National Hunt Festival. The two main restaurants, the Panoramic and the de Robeck, are complimented by the Festival Pavilion, which can cater for up to 200 guests, while the Chairman's Suite and the Panoramic Suites can accommodate up to 60 guests. But the real fun of a race meet is getting trackside and experiencing the thrill of the races close-up and on a bright Spring day, there's nowhere better than Punchestown racecourse. Not travelling in April? Well never fear, with over 300 race meets at 27 racecourses throughout Ireland, you're never far away from a race meeting. Let's go racing… For more information on Punchestown, or any of the racecourses in Ireland as an activity for your group, please give us a call (+ 353 1 662 1434) or e-mail us(info@tgaireland.com).
